This free speech thing is really big news right now and it seems like bloggers and net users alike feel that free speech should be an institution that should not be violated by the government. Funnily enough the ST seemed to clamp down on the issue, not even one Forum letter on the topic and [...] I do not accept hate speech. Racists, gay-bashers and their angry ilk must not be allowed to use the excuse of the right to free speech in their rants. Hate speech should not be freed. I also don’t hate free speech, as long as it is based on reason and there is no insidious intention [...] Sedition means this lah and sedition denotes that lah by the racist apologists. The point so far is that while Sedition Act damn fierce sounding like sure kena rotan or death penalty, actually the penalties macam on par like for theft. Mr Wang so far damn convincing in saying Sedition Act more apt in terms [...] Pwoaah racists in Internet who act smart think they cannot get caught..think again! Gahment hoot 2 racists with Sedition Act. SMLJ? Aiyah care for wat right? As long as racists tio mao jialat jialat can oredi hor? hehe wink wink. Macam Deng Xiaoping’s don’t care black cat or white cat, can catch rat oredi means [...] This is one of the funniest political moments in Spore’s history. Sporeans are actually creatively expressing their frustration with humour! No need for angry protests and apparently useless petitions and pleas. All we need is sharp simple humour to create a real impact. I also hope the police have better things to do than prosecuting [...] |
